Dr. Hood serves as the Director of Bands at John P. Freeman Optional School in Memphis, TN. Dr. Hood is a product of legacy Memphis City Schools, graduating with honors from Overton High School for the Creative and Performing Arts. Dr. Hood attended The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and earned a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance and a Masters of Science in Educational Administration. Dr. Hood earned an educational doctorate in curriculum and instruction from Capella University.
